The perfect way to discover German wines.

Sonia Fallert, daughter of winemakers and winegrower from the Black Forest, will introduce us to 9 references of German white wines, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and other unknown varieties.

The idea is to enjoy the wines, commented by Sonia and the head waitress of the restaurant, in harmony with a personalised menu of 8 courses prepared by Enrique, the chef of Apicius for this occasion, and with a dish for each specific wine, including the Eiswein. An infallible duo of German wines and Mediterranean cuisine. The evening will end with a good coffee and an excellent selection of German digestives.

Tasting menu with wine pairing by Bruno Murciano

La Galiana Golf Resort joins the gastronomic experiences of this edition of the Festival with a tasting menu prepared by the chef Isaías Cercos paired with a selection of wines by Bruno Murciano, Valencian sommelier trained in Castellón and France, where he began his international career as a sommelier, a career that has led him to be Chef Sommelier of the historic and renowned Ritz Hotel in London.

During this experience, diners will enjoy the renowned gastronomy of La Galiana, based on the traditional cuisine of the region, in which recipes with seasonal vegetables, harvested in his own garden, and products obtained from local suppliers, such as fresh and marinated fish that Cercós cooks respecting the traditional elaborations of the Valencian culture. All of this is accompanied by an exceptional pairing harmony with the artisan wines of Hnos. Murciano Viticultores, who have made a commitment to recover and enhance the value of native Valencian varieties and offer authentic and respectful wines obtained from a great deal of sustainable work and certified organic and vegan.

If there is one thing that characterises the Valencian way of life, it is their willingness to «fer comboi» and to celebrate everything and this year, when El Poblet celebrates its 10th anniversary, we really wanted to spend an unforgettable day in one of our inspirational surroundings and reference larder, the Albufera de València.

An immersion in the territory where tradition and haute cuisine come together, where we can sail its waters with aperitif in hand, toast together around Valencian stews and dishes and chat about how lucky we are to have this landscape so close to us while we taste our cured meats seated at a large table or on the jetty.

At this event there is a unique table, where diners will take their place to sit down to eat whenever they want, the food will be at stations and there will be rice showcooking. It’s all about moving around the surroundings of the hut, enjoying the day’s menu at your leisure and sharing the experience.

Chef Luis Valls and his team are waiting for you on 21 May to close the Valencia Culinary Festival 2023, we are cooking València in the Albufera and we want to be with you.
